> TECHNICAL DIVING
If you’ve looked into technical diving, you realize that tec divers always wear more than one tank. Sidemount is an increasingly popular way to configure multiple cylinders for technical diving. You can enter the world of tec diving with the Tec Sidemount Diver course and apply what you learn to other TecRec courses.
The third part of the full PADI Tec Deep Diver program is Tec 50. As a Tec 50 diver, you show that you’ve developed competency as a tec diver and have the skills to dive to a maximum of 50 metres/165 feet. You know how to make extended, accelerated decompression stops using up to two…
The PADI Tec 45 course is the second part of the full PADI Tec Deep Diver program. You’ll extend your depth limit to 45 metres/145 feet and learn to plan and execute repetitive decompression dives using a single stage/decompression cylinder. It puts you in a complete tec diving rig, which can be either backmount or…
The PADI Tec 40 course is where you transition from recreational scuba diving to technical diving. It’s a great place to start because it’s the first subdivision of the full PADI Tec Diver course and bridges the gap between no stop diving and full technical deep decompression diving. You gain experience and begin building the…
TDI Oxygen (O2) Equipment Service Technician Course allows candidates the ability to engage in the preparation of scuba equipment for the use and exposure of oxygen and other mixed gasses used in technical diving. The objective of this course is to train candidates in the proper procedures required for oxygen equipment cleaning.
TDI Advanced Gas Blender Course picks up where you left off in the previous sequence in training, the TDI Nitrox Gas Blender course. After successful completion of the TDI Advanced Gas Blender course, you will be able to engage in the blending of oxygen and helium based gases.
TDI Nitrox Gas Blender Course to find out how your cylinders get filled with nitrox! The TDI Nitrox Gas Blender Course will take you through the blending of nitrox in an easy-to-understand format.
You can take this course instead of the TDI Trimix course. It has one additional, more advanced, dive compared to the TDI Trimix course. This course does not give you credit for the Advanced Trimix course since there are no new skills introduced compared to the Trimix level.
TDI Advanced Trimix Diver Course is the top level of training for open circuit divers wishing to dive to depths as deep as 100 metres/330 feet utilizing hypoxic levels of oxygen (below 17 percent). This course is perhaps one of the most informative and challenging of all of the TDI open circuit courses.
TDI Trimix Diver Course could be your next step! As your motivation to explore progresses, you will find that you may want to go deeper to dive that wreck that is part of history or that cave system that you have read so much about.
TDI Extended Range course teaches you the proper techniques for utilizing compressed air as a breathing gas, and with a maximum depth of 55 metres/180 feet, so you don’t have to miss those dives!
TDI Helitrox Diver Course examines the theory, methods, and procedures for planning staged decompression dives utilizing helium in the breathing mixture to reduce the effects of inert gas narcosis.
